Understanding Business History: Interview with Premier Pet Supply Owner Mike Palmer.

Mike Palmer is one of Metro Detroit’s most successful entrepreneurs, growing his family owned business from one location to ten stores in the last decade. His family started their pet supplies store back in 1992, and under the ownership of Mike who purchased half the business in 1997, the store has garnered an incredible reputation. The business has won dozens of awards for their customer service, and their community involvement.

The study of Entrepreneurship means the study of what makes a successful entrepreneur, successful. Throughout history the world has seen incredibly successful entrepreneurs that have tapped into markets, and grown businesses with unprecedented success. The major aim of studying this field of history, specifically entrepreneurship, is to see how entrepreneurs know what decisions to make in order to grow their business. These are conversations that we need to have as the local business is the key to a strong community.
