Join, or Die News 12/4/24: Zuckerberg meets with Trump, Censorship ramps up, and is Kash Patel the man for the job?
Last week, with Thanksgiving, things got a little hectic, and I was put behind on work. On Saturday morning, I shot a deer! A nice, seven-point buck….that I had to process myself. I don’t let anything go to waste. For me, shooting a deer is food for months, so all of it is consumed by humans and pets alike.
If you haven’t ever done it, processing a deer takes a looooong time. It’s been bitterly cold here in Michigan, and I used that to my advantage to keep that deer fresh for three days as I broke it down, vacuum-packed it and stuck it in the freezer. My drafty house even became an advantage. I shut the door and vents in one of my bathrooms, keeping it about 40 degrees in there and it doubled as a walk-in cooler.
Needless to say, I am now done butchering! I have a freezer full of fantastic venison and a ton of stuff to catch up on! So, here I go!

💻💻Should ANYONE trust Mark Zuckerberg again?
Mark Zuckerberg met with Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago on the eve of Thanksgiving. The tattered relationship between Zuck and Trump is possibly on the mend, but should it be?
Zuckerberg famously doled out “Zuckerbucks” before the 2020 election, causing many to blame him for election meddling. Trump himself had once claimed Zuckerberg deserved prosecution for screwing around with elections. While the Zuckerbucks influence is hard to prove, the Meta founder admitted he censored the Hunter Biden laptop story at the request of the Federal Government.
Facebook was once the king of social media, but Zuckerberg’s team of ruthless moderators destroyed the platform. Anyone who dissents from Big Tech’s worship of left-wing ideology is censored, shadowbanned, or outright suspended. Now, the platform has become the citadel for your distant aunts to cry about Donald Trump and post random videos.
Of course, Meta owns Instagram and WhatsApp, but the “neutral” moderators that Meta employs have a stronghold over these apps, too.
The late Trump- and the totality of the Biden Administration has represented an era of social media censorship. Giants like TikTok, YouTube, Meta, and formerly Twitter were all in lockstep, shutting down Trump’s supporters and anybody with a dissenting voice. Unfortunately, for activists who work for social media companies, censorship isn’t cool anymore. Rising platforms like Rumble (built solely on the basis of free speech) are competing with YouTube. Elon Musk’s purchase of Twitter has changed everything, making free speech king again, forcing the censorship junkies to panic.
Mark Zuckerberg’s meeting with Trump was conducted to offer support. Zuck wants a place in determining the future of tech policy, but can he be trusted?
Just months ago, a software developer at Meta was busted on a hidden camera bragging about the company’s policy of censoring conservatives. According to the Meta programmer, Zuckerberg was completely on board with this policy. This was seconded by another Meta software engineer in October.
There’s a good chance Zuckerberg is desperate to save face now that Trump has taken back the White House. Politics is a dirty game that usually ends in groveling, especially for those who support losing candidates.
Mark Zuckerberg is probably more pro-free speech than most realize. He founded one of the first successful social media companies built on the premise of open, global communication, and for years, Facebook was the Wild West when it came to internet communication. As the company grew, Meta started outsourcing moderation to third-party companies under the premise of neutrality. Content moderation is largely an unskilled job. You sit and watch or read hours and hours of content, often horrific and graphic posts. This kind of work is going to be more appealing to certain types of people, and if you have a larger aim of doing something productive, content moderation isn’t for you.
Content moderation is the perfect place for activist types. Anyone who starts a content moderation or “fact-checking” company is working within the left-wing Big Tech ecosystem, so they’re likely to lean that way and hire people who think like them. It is the perfect way to assert control without building anything.
If you ask me, social media has been swallowed up by these content moderators because they can take over. They didn’t have to build the platforms they work with. They will have jobs regardless of the destruction they bestow upon the companies they work with.
In turn, people like Mark Zuckerberg have little control over everything. We saw this with Twitter as Jack Dorsey was forced to watch his beloved platform descend into a cesspool of censorship and toxicity with little control. These are guys who built platforms like Facebook and Twitter, and I highly doubt they did it because they’re power-hungry control freaks. They wanted to build cool stuff, but the power-hungry corporatists saw a glistening opportunity.
Whether we can trust Zuckerberg again, the olive branch offers a small hope molecule. Zuck seems to be coming around and can probably see the writing on the wall. Censorship and woke policy aren’t paying off. Americans rejected these things outright. Granted, Zuckerberg’s work with Trump will likely involve tech policy surrounding things like AI, but the Trump platform is firm on combating tech censorship. Zuckerberg’s work with Trump would be hampered if Zuck continued to go along with censoring Trump’s supporters.
Fighting back against censorship, in general, is going to be a grind. Joe Rogan recently had tech censorship guru Mike Benz on his podcast. It was fascinating to listen to, but it was somewhat discouraging as we don’t realize how embedded censorship is within the United States government. Having guys like Zuckerberg on Trump’s side could help. Now, we just have to sit back and see what happens.
🔥🔥Joe Rogan has anti-internet censorship warrior Mike Benz on….you should DEFINITELY listen to it.
Here’s a link to the podcast episode.
Quick aside: It’s a Rumble link and if you’re not using Rumble, you should. If you didn’t like Rumble’s user experience in the past it has changed a lot. Stop supporting censorship-heavy platforms like YouTube. If you listen to Mike Benz talk about censorship, you’ll learn how important it is to support free-speech platforms like Rumble, X, BitChute, and Odysee. Get away from these Tech Giant platforms who hate you.
Now, the real thing: Mike Benz is putting up an incredible fight, going hard after internet censorship. Benz is a former attorney who ended up as Trump’s Deputy Assistant Secretary for International Communications and Information Policy. I know that’s a mouthful. Working in the State Department made Benz aware of the Federal Government’s censorship apparatus. It goes incredibly deep.
The best thing I can tell you is to go and listen to the episode. I HIGHLY recommend it. We need to recognize how threatening and embedded government censorship is. There isn’t just one censorship overseer; they are everywhere! The censorship regime, as Benz says, isn’t in its infancy. It’s growing into adulthood.
After Trump was elected in 2016, the government realized the internet was largely responsible. The terrifying, anti-establishment populist was elected putting our “institutions” at risk. It was at this point the whole game changed. “Democracy” no longer meant actual democracy, but instead flipped to mean our institutions. Threats to Democracy are now threats to our Federal Government. It has nothing to do with you, me, or any average American.
There is a global push for more censorship. Trump getting elected is America’s best shot at combating censorship, but it’s also going to inspire the censorship state to up their game. At the end of November, 2024 UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres made a public committment to expand and enforce censorship measures. Numerous world leaders signed the UN declaration, committing to censorship at the same event.
The reasons behind censorship fulfill the typical progressive checklist. They need to “check digital platforms.” The biggest problem is hate speech, which is allowed to “proliferate like never before.” Of course, this list wouldn’t be complete without railing against “misinformation.”
Trump's win in the White House and Elon Musk's backing of the president-elect will create a new authoritarian push by globalist-progressive governments to cut back on free speech. This is why now, more than ever, it is important to make your voice heard while also supporting platforms that actually believe in free speech.
It would be best to listen to the episode to get the complete picture. Mike Benz is a walking encyclopedia when it comes to this stuff. Rogan sat there in rapt attention as Benz articulated the whole breakdown of the censorship regime. He did an incredible job of giving his take in an organized and factual way, bringing plenty of receipts.
Benz is also the founder of the Foundation for Freedom Online, where they keep tabs on expansive censorship efforts.
📰📰FBI Director pick Kash Patel gets the support of numerous FBI alumni.
While corporate media would like you to believe Patel is a right-wing extremist, die-hard Trump loyalist, he is just a common-sense guy.
While deep-state tools like John Bolton and the members of the media rail against Kash Patel as unqualified to head the FBI, they are just gaslighting like usual. Claiming Patel is not experienced or qualified for the job is complete nonsense.
Along with Patel’s deep resume comes along with ringing endorsements. Retired FBI Supervisory Special Agent Jeff Danik said that Patel is “completely and 100% qualified to run that organization. He’s what’s needed today.”
Those calling Kash Patel “unqualified” are just using that as a barrier to hide behind. They are terrified of this guy. Patel has made it known that he will hold corrupt government actors accountable and would go after judges and prosecutors who make their decisions based on politics over the law. This is what should happen. A precedent needs to be set before this country descends into total corrupt chaos. In a 2023 interview with Steve Bannon, Patel vowed to fill our intelligence agencies with America-first patriots.
When Patel sat down with Glenn Beck for a BlazeTV interview, he talked about moving the FBI out of Washington. He pushed back on the idea that 7,000 agents were needed in the city. Government bureaucrats in D.C. focus on careers over law enforcement. They’re too busy kissing up to D.C. politicians to care about actual crime fighting. Bureaucrats who are nuzzled up to politicians will make politically motivated decisions to appease their overlords.
Kash Patel was one of the few selections many Americans were hoping for. While he’s accused of being a “Trump loyalist,” he is far more loyal to the United States of America and recognizes the FBI for what it is: a corrupt swamp monster filled with apathetic bureaucrats. The FBI was not founded with the intention of spying on Americans or politically prosecuting dissenters; it was established to investigate crime, hence the “Federal Bureau of Investigation” as its name.
While the media, deep-staters, and establishment politicians try to sell Patel as an evil “yes man” for Trump, they’re just terrified that justice is about to be served. Patel has spent years sniffing out government corruption while working within its corridors. He knows the system inside and out, which is precisely why he is terrifying to the bloated blob creatures poised to push back against him.
It takes about twenty seconds of listening to Kash in an interview to see he is a down-to-earth, common-sense, intelligent, pro-America guy. It makes no sense to keep the FBI in D.C. It’s equally as nonsensical to keep thousands of FBI employees in the nation’s capital, where they are easily corrupted during a time when criminals run rampant in our country.
Americans should be excited about a change because it is coming. The establishment, a deep-state media conglomerate, is slowly losing its grip on the United States, and it’s time for them to lose it completely.
